Handlay up Moulding

The hand lay-up method of producing glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) grates is a
wet lamination process in a moulding tool followed by subsequent annealing.
The reinforcement is made up of glass-fibre rovings that are incorporated in alternating
overlaid layers into a matrix made of resin.
After the matrix has cross-linked, the product is removed from the mould
using an ejector pin and then deburred.
Pultrusion

Pultrusion is an automatic and continual process used to manufacture glass-fibre reinforced plastic profiles
at a consistently high quality.
Using this process, profile cross sections and the material characteristics can be precisely matched
to the intended purpose for which they are going to be used.
